Ryan and I could not be more excited to share this incredible time in our lives with you! We hope you take this weekend in May as an excuse to get out of the city and explore the beautiful Texas Hill Country!
I am posting a list of wonderful places to stay in the area. Check out their websites and see what suits your family best!
1. Creekhaven Inn is an absolutely ideal choice. The owners go above and beyond, the breakfast is hearty, the rooms are gems, and the environment is absolutely serene. You simply cannot go wrong. Rooms range from $150-$215 per night. http://creekhaveninn. com/
2. If you prefer to be pampered with a gourmet restaurant at your fingertips, spa services, and beautifully decorated rooms, Blair House Inn may be your perfect fit. If you’d like, you can even register for cooking classes with their executive chef! Rooms range from $150 - $289 per night. http://blairhouseinn. com/
3. Cypress Creek Cottages offer (pet friendly!) charming cottages that sit right on the creek and create a quiet environment only 5 miles from downtown Wimberley. Rooms range from $99-159. http://www. cypresscreekcottages.org/
Dripping Springs and Blanco offer many options for staying as well. (Both towns are only 15 mins away). Here are a few recommendations!
1. Mt. Gainor Inn is a B&B located in Dripping Springs. Average $149/night. http://www. mtgainorinn.com/
2. Star House B&B in Dripping Springs. Average $190/night. http://www. starhousebandb.com/
3. Best Western is brand new and located in Blanco. Average $150/night. http:// bestwesterntexas.com/blanco- hotels
My personal recommendation !! --- If you would prefer a personal cabin or river house rental, please visit the websites below. They have lots of great houses ranging fromm 1 bedroom to 5 bedrooms!
I am also putting together a list of adventures and activities in Wimberley so you may make your weekend trip complete! You will receive this upon arrival, yet I will be posting some fun excursions and outings prior for those of you who'd like time to plan.
